The president of this year’s jury, Victor Chouchkov, is a Bulgarian actor, director and film writer. He was born in Sofia in 1971, named after his father- the distinguished composer, Victor Chouckov. Victor Chouchkov Jr. is known as the boy, Leonid, from the film “Yo ho ho”, directed by Zako Heskiya in 1981. He and his brother, Borislav, and their film company “Chouchkov brothers”, are the producers and co-producers of a long list of completed projects including Valeska Grisebach’s “Western” (Cannes, 2017), Elina Psykou’s “Son of Sofia”, which won the grand prize at the Tribeca Film Festival 2017. Victor Chouchkov has also directed the feature film “Tilt”, which has been featured in many international film festivals and awarded several titles, including Best Debut Feature Award at the Raindance Film Festival 2011.
Currently, he is finishing his new feature film, “18% Grey”, a cooperative production between Bulgaria, Germany, Serbia, Macedonia and Belgium, which is expecting release in January of 2020.

Alexander Perkins
UK
Alexander Perkins is an actor based just outside of London in the UK. His film work includes “Judas Ghost”, “Pride” and “Happy Birthday, Toby Simpson”, which saw him winning best actor at The British Independent Film Festival and here at “Love is Folly”. For television he has performed in, amongst others, “Call the Midwife”, “Foyle’s War”, “Doctors” and “Law & Order: UK”. He has also appeared in every episode of the Golden Globe-winning “The Office”. This year he will be seen in the final series of “Poldark” and in “The Trial of Christine Keeler”, both for the BBC, as well as in Epix TV’s exciting new DC series, “Pennyworth”.

Cigdem Sezgin
Turkey
Cigdem Sezgin is an actress and director based in Turkey. She graduated Marmara University (Faculty of Arts, Cinema department) in 1996. She went on to work as assistant-director for various television series and films, after which she became primary director for 5 years. In 2015 she wrote, produced and directed her first feature film titled “Wedding Dance”, which won several awards at film festivals such as Festival International Du Film Oriental de Geneve and International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg.

Ileana Pernes Danalache

Theater and film critic. Graduated in Filmology-Theatrology section, at the National University of Drama and Cinematography “I.L. Caragiale”. Broadcast media professional with an extensive and acknowledged experience of 39 years in the cinematographic and audiovisual field. Over 400 articles signed in various expert publications, collaborations on radio and TV, a 10 year experience as national coordinator of inter – governmental Program EUREKA AUDIOVISUAL”.
National Award winner in 1988 of the Association of Journalists of Romania, Interviews and Essays section. Lifetime achievement award Plaque of Honor in 2015.
Member of several juries of film (“Contemporania”, International Film Festival” Document.Art, “Dreamfest” Slatina, “Ecofest“ Oradea, “Ecofest“ Braila, etc).
She published in 2015 the volume of interviews with personalities of the Seventh Art “18 interviews”.
A member of the Romanian Association of Public Relations (ARRP) since 1998 and also of the Honorable Jury of ARRP since May 2014. Member of the Filmmakers Union of Romania. Vice-President and founding member of the Romanian Film Association “Document.Art.” since 2009.

Irina Lindt
Kazakhstan
Irina Lindt was born on 15 April 1974 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She graduated the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, after which she joined the troupe of Taganka theater lead by Yuriy Lyubimov. She debuted during her fourth year in the Institute in the play “Teenager”, playing two roles at once. She is known for the television series “Resort police”, “The Institute of Noble Maidens”, “The Secrets of the Institute of Noble Maidens”, “Female logic”, as well as the film “I Give You My Word” and others. She was awarded the prize “Triumph” for her work in the play “Marat/Sade”.
